This song from the sixties, 1960 in fact, has been recorded by artists several times but probably for us older folks either the Bryan Hyland version (1962) [^] or the Bobby Vinton version [^] would be the versions we know, and Jason Donovan recorded it in 1989. Link to live performance in Dublin.

I am not a trained musician so some of the harmonies may not be ‘conventional’ and not quite what might be expected but I just create music that sounds OK to me, whether technically right or wrong is not something I concern myself about. If there is something glaring that causes you a problem feel free to let me know. I am always ready to learn even at my age! I also appreciate reasonable criticism, good or bad.
The TTBB version as a sample is shown here, but the SATB and SSAA versions are not straight ports of the TTBB score. The harmonies are slightly different in each version since I have tried to ensure that the ranges are compatible with the voices, always assuming a reasonable ability. These pieces are unlikely to be suitable for raw beginners as the ranges are likely to be outside their comfort zones, but a seasoned choir should have no difficulty.

I have created a PDF file that you can download for the full score and MID (MIDI) files you can import. There are MP3 files so you can hear what it is like. These do NOT perhaps give the best impression as there are no vocals – just the melody of the part as choir ahs, plus the piano accompaniment of course.
